I have much to place before your Excellency the incased Note addressed to me on the 13th Instant by Dr Murray Colonial Surgeon.
His professional opinion so strongly expressed leaves me no alternative, and I have accordingly to request Your Excellency to grant me leave of absence to proceed homeward by the Mail Steamer of 13th Proximo.
